I recently decided that my personal purpose was to re-define marriage. Once I made that decision it was easy to see that one of my favorite ways to do that is to find marriage advice that really works and share it. As often as possible, with as many people as will listen.
We have so many wonderful new readers (welcome!) that today I wanted to share a classic post. But instead of just re-posting it here, I wanted to do it in a fun way. I am all about keeping things fresh, in my marriage, on my blog and in life.
Here are some of my favorite quotes on how to re-define marriage:
Question Everything.
Decide together.
Re-decide together periodically.
Is this still working?
How can we make it work better?
Pour love into your marriage every day.
Tell your husband he is hot and smart. Remember why you married him and tell him. Do it now.
We marry for LOVE and then forget.
We start talking about carpools and interest payments and diaper rashes and celery. So from now on, whenever you start thinking it’s time to buy celery. Go Kiss Your Husband instead.

If you are getting this via email – woohoo! I love you. And on Saturday, I am making a super special announcement – look out for it. Yum.
If you haven’t signed up for the love list yet – this is the week to do it. Surprises are coming and they are good. (and free!) Your name and email in the box get you in.
This week’s LoveWork is to ask the question – Is this still working? About any area of your life –how many times you and the hubby kiss a day, what you are eating for dinner, what you do for fun. Pick anything and just ask, “Is this still working?” if the answer is yes, keep going. If it’s no – enlist the hubsicle to help you make a plan to get to yes. And then keep going until the answer is “Yes!”
