Oprah Winfrey Quote – “Love is a verb. Is there admiration and respect? If there isn’t then there is no love. Love is not a feeling it is a behavior, it is how a person acts and how they treat you.”
What I love about this quote is that when you realize love is a verb, you can suddenly see where you are doing it or not. It becomes very black and white and easy to recognize and either begin or stop behavior accordingly. Yes there are feelings – good happy wonderful ones, but they come to life through actions. When in doubt – remember – love is a verb – do something loving and the doubt will go away by itself.
