EPISODE #74 – The Reassurance Trap with Sally Winston
On this episode of The Marriage Life Coach Podcast, clinical psychologist and author, Sally Winston, joins me to talk about the life-changing concept called The Reassurance Trap.
Sally is a Master Clinician who’s given sought after workshops for therapists for decades. She is also the founder and co-director of The Anxiety and Stress Disorders Institute of Maryland. She has served as the first chair of the ADAA’s Clinical Advisory Board and even received their prestigious Jerilyn Ross Clinician Advocate Award.
Among the many books that she has written, worked on, and co-authored are What Every Therapist Needs to Know about Anxiety Disorders, Overcoming Unwanted Intrusive Thoughts, and my personal favorite Needing to Know for Sure, which is one of the most powerful books that I have used with so much success with so many of my clients.
This is an episode you will want to listen to once and then come back to take notes on, because it will help you understand and transform the powerful relationship we have with the different voices in our heads.
