A multi-year study from Harvard uncovered that happiness was not tied to outer achievement or the number in your bank account.
The one common denominator of the people studied for over 40 years who identify as truly happy was the quality of the relationships in their lives.
The quality of the connections we invest in and nourish has a huge impact in everything we do. That is why we are here.
So where do we start?
Decide.
What is your vision for your relationship?
What do you want more of?
What do you want less of?
What can you today to get closer to your vision?
Write these answers down!
This is not a mental exercise, this is a moment you take ACTION to create a vision that is going to help you improve your marriage.
What do you want more of? What do you want less of?
What can you do, today, right now, as soon as you finish reading this to get closer to your vision?
The simplest, most doable answer wins. I will give you an example from my own life.
YES, I do all the things I keep telling you to do too. 😘
When I was writing this, my birthday was coming up and I hadn’t made any plans.
It’s on a Monday this year and I thought about just having a regular ho-hum Monday and that was a big fat no!
Then I thought, wouldn’t it be fun to spend it with the hubster?
Maybe go to the movies in the middle of the day? Have an adventure!? Yes, going to the movies in the middle of the day on a Monday counts as an adventure for me Don’tJudge. 🥰
So I asked if he could take the day off from work. Simple. Doable. Closer to my vision. See?
Now it’s your turn!
Have you decided to finally solve your marriage problems once and for all?
